HI SEC’s Video Management and ENVS® Offer Improved Features
HI SEC announces the release of its improved Video Management software and Edge Network Video Server (ENVS®).
 The ENVS®
is now packaged in a rack mount option. The rack mount optimises precious rack space
while providing easy installation and connectivity to network and video communications.
The new RACK mount ENVS holds eight cameras without compromising performance.
Event based recording ensures all events are recorded on the video system. The Video’s
enhanced event recording feature allows users to record video just seconds before
and after an event to provide a more accurate account of events.
Security operators can view every camera on their system using multiple camera views
on the video matrix. Operators can view up to 72 camera images on a single operator’s
PC using two monitors. The overall system maximum
is 256 cameras.
HI SEC’s Video now supports the new Axis Network cameras including the 212
Virtual PTZ camera, and the Axis 295 joystick that provides PTZ for all camera types
including ENVS and DVR connected cameras.
Additional new Video Management and ENVS features:
- Audio monitoring is supported for audio enabled network IP cameras.
- Cluster aware versions of Video Management software and additional Storage Management
Servers are now released.
- Pan and tilts are smoother when zooming on a variable speed PTZ camera.
- Support for pixilated or black Privacy Zones for static CCTV cameras of any type.
- Integrates with Johnson Controls’ DVN 3000 and DVN 5000 DVRs.
- Integrates with Verint’s Nextiva video product line.
