ThorGuard Management System
System Overview
The ThorGuard Security Management System is a unique and flexible
management platform that includes alarm monitoring, access control administration
and an advanced configuration platform.
ThorGuard Management System is used for configuration and management of ThorGuard
Intrusion and Access Control System.
The
management system design complies with the ever changing market needs where functionality
and flexibility is required.
ThorGuard Management runs under Windows XP Professional
/ 2003 Server or 2000 Professional. The management server may be used as a service
or application. The management software is based on a database structure using the
Microsoft SQL database. A unique service in the software optimises the PC memory
usage to gain maximum performance.
The management system can be installed on one PC or on several different client PC’s all connected simultaneously to the system
via TCP/IP network.
Functionality
ThorGuard Management may be adjusted to suit the
individual customer needs for managing the ThorGuard Intrusion and Access Control
System.
ThorGuard Management connects to the hardware using TCP/IP (DNA).
Virtually
unlimited number of hardware devices may be supervised by ThorGuard Management making
it one of the strongest systems available on the market.
The platform design is
similar to Windows explorer providing a recognizable layout for easy compliance.
Operators
Each user is granted access to the system depending on their unique user
profile.
The user profile determines log-in rules, language selection as well as
access rights and access level. This setup enables the system administrator to grant
access at a high level giving the users limited access rights.
For system retrieval
all transactions made by each individual operator are logged making it possible
for step vice roll back.
